Bemz is a Stockholm, Sweden-based company that sells removable, washable slipcovers for sofas, armchairs and cushions. We sell them direct to consumers via the internet. Currently, these products are available to fit the most popular models of IKEA sofas and chairs.Bemz has chosen to focus on one specific competitive advantage- we will offer our customers a unique product that they could not get any other way in the market today. Because we sell our products exclusively on the internet we are able to offer you ”custom made” products. This means that you, as the customer, will own a unique, "individually" made product, plus we are able to offer you an extensive selection of products at prices which are very competitive.
Bemz AB is privately owned by the employees and private investors.

Focus on "Custom Made" products
Your slipcover is custom made just for you- which means that you can choose from our entire selection of colours and patterns regardless of your model of sofa or armchair. If we produce sofa or armchair slipcovers for your model of sofa or armchair (see our full product range of sofa slipcovers and armchair slipcovers), then you have complete access to our full range of designs, fabrics and colours. Your sofa, armchair or cushion slipcover is not produced until you place your order. And, your new slipcover(s) will be delivered to your door within approximately six weeks. (The six week timeframe includes both the time required to produce your slipcover and the delivery of your slipcover to your door.)Back to Top of Page
Focus on Quality
Bemz produces all of our products with 100% natural cotton and/or linen fibres. We have choosen our fabrics with a focus on quality and durability. All of our sofa, armchair and cushion slipcovers are prewashed, preshrunk and guaranteed.Back to Top of Page

Where does the name Bemz come from?
Lesley Pennington is the founder of Bemz. A couple of years ago Lesley went on maternity leave, and during that time she had a compelling desire to do something with her career that had a higher purpose in her life. Something more fulfilling, and something that would allow her to balance her family life with her chosen career. While the business idea for Bemz has evolved over the last three years, it is the children in Lesley's life that are the inspiration for Bemz. Bemz is dedicated to them. The name Bemz is an anagram comprised of all of their initials: Björn, Emil, Madeleine, and Zoë. They are a constant reminder of the real successes in life…Back to Top of Page
